As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years I highly recommend the blushes at BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS! They have a beautiful range to choose from and all are truly the most superb quality I have ever worked with. My clients RAVE about this line.
MAC Mineralize Blush in Peasantry.

Here's a picture of it! it's the bright pink one.

It's a fun bubble gum pink shade that gives a great pale pink pop to your cheeks! :]
Nars Orgasm is AMAZING!! You can go to their website just google it...it's as good as it sounds ;]

thanks!Which kind of blush would be best for my skin?
probaly a pinkish rose color........try pinching your cheeks....the color it turns should be the blush that would look great on youWhich kind of blush would be best for my skin?
you should get like a nice pinkish tone blush to bring out your face...

Is Covergirl the best brand for blush?

Does it last long? Does it clog pores? What types are best (specific collections within Covergirl)? Any complaints? Is Covergirl the best brand for blush?
im on a dance team and during performances/competitions we have to wear blush. covergirl does last pretty long but in the end all makeup clogs pores. the only thing is sometimes you kinda have to use a lot because it can go on kind of sheer. but i guess it just depends on wht kinda look you're going for !Is Covergirl the best brand for blush?
I like it, I don't know if it clogs pores. I have never had a problem with it. I guess it could. I like the burnt orange and light orangeish combo because I have olive skin and it works with my coloring. I can't say for you as I don't know what coloring you have.
i uses any kind and it all works the same to me.any make up will clog your pores if you don't remove it at night.
    i dont know ima guy
NARS is better, but it is more expensive. MAC is good too, and a reasonable price.

Whats the best type of blush and what company?

    Dry skin - cream/gel blush

    Oily skin - powder blush

The two brands I like are MAC (great color range and texture) and Bobbi Brown.Whats the best type of blush and what company?
i love covergirls cheekers in rose silk, but that color may not look good on you depending on your skin color i have really fair skinWhats the best type of blush and what company?
i use Mary Kay's blush but i haven't ever used any other kind so i wouldn't know what else is out there.
MAC... i only use their products... from concealer to blush to make-up remover
Nars or Benefit have some great colors.
I love Mary Kays blush and they have a huge range! I've tried lots of others but never get the same result!
    too faced,neotrogena,hard candy ,mark
MAC for sure, I don't like all of their products but their blush blends well and you don't need layers for it to show up. The colors they provide are easier to match to your skin avoiding a bruised appearance. Also you want to get a nice blush brush, that can make a difference on how well the blush goes on ;)

Whats the best blush to use?

16 year old girl, olive/brown skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes. what is the best kind of blush [drugstore brands] to use for me?Whats the best blush to use?
Doesn't sound like you need ANY. Didn't you know that most guys like you to look natural? Unless you are hideous, you don't sound like you are though. Don't ruin yourself and look like a hoochie.Whats the best blush to use?
strong pink or maybe darker pink or creme colors
Something light in contrast with your skin (peach or pink) would make you look rosy, use as a highlighter (on your cheekbones).

Something that's one shade darker would help you define your cheekbones (sweep just under the cheekbones).

The latter requires a little bit more practice though!
for brands true match (i think its loreal) is amazing if you want an inexpensive but really good blush.

a dark mauve/pink is probably a good color
    purple or pink
    cream blush!

try Revlon cream blush at drugstores

find a shade that is close to the natural glow of your cheeks after exercise and in the same color family as your lipstick.

Olive skin tones should wear apricots or if you have a dark olive complexion, an orange.

After choosing your shade, you鈥檒l want to look at the contrast of your hair against your skin. If you have dark hair and light skin, you鈥檒l need a more vivid blush.
Try using a bronzer. Wet %26amp; Wild is really nice and its only about 2 dollars.
    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
    P!NK
    I suggest Quo.
I would recommend using a more pink colored blush (any brand is okay). Apply it lightly to the apple of the cheeks to make it look natural. Pink tones will look very nice for you skintone and will give your skin a natrual highlight. Stay away from bronzers because those can tend to make you look dirty.
Nars you can get it at sephora
I love using tru blend from cover girl... it works really well.
maybe she's borrn with it, maybe its maybeline......

    What's the best/softest blush brush under $20?

I'm trying to look for a good/soft BLUSH brush both angled and NOT under $20 though.

    What's the best/softest blush brush under $20?
believe it or not the E.L.F. brushes are fantastic...and they're a dollar a pop. They have a great angled blush brush that is super soft and does not shed at all! It is by far my favorite brush- even better than my MAC ones. They have straight bristled ones too. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed- Their makeup is really good too, they eye shadows are really pigmented and stay on all day, and their twist up lipstick/gloss is great as well. Just go to eyeslipsface.com

What is the best cream blush for fair to med skin?

dream matte mousse. What is the best cream blush for fair to med skin?
I heard that Maybelline's Dream Mousse Blush is very good and the color I think that will best suit your skin tone is Soft Plum or Cloud Wine. Another blush I think you should cehck out is Mac's Blushcreme in Lilicent. I think anyone who owns a Mac Blushcreme has Lilicent. There is also one more I would like to mention but it is kind of pricey. It's Stila Convertable Colour and its about 24 bucks or higher, I forgot but check out Sephora. It can be used on your lips and cheeks so its pretty good and the colour I think will best suit your skin tone is peony. Hope that helps! :)What is the best cream blush for fair to med skin?

  • What is the best brand of gel blush have u used?

what skin tone does it flatter the most? What is the best brand of gel blush have u used?
i have used tarte in blushing bride...i like it

also benefit's benetint works grrreat! i've used it for years now and it stays and only comes in one universally flattering shade! What is the best brand of gel blush have u used?
it wasn't gel but it's Mabelline's Matte Mousse blush.

I have ivory colored skin and I use this darkish pink color will gold flecks in it. It looks nice. The lighter you are the more pinker you go and the darker you are, the darker the blush.
Almay Smart Shade Blush. You can choose from:

    - Pink, for fair to light skin

    - Natural, for light to medium skin

    - Berry, for medium to dark skin

Then when you apply it, it just kind of... adjusts to your ideal shade of blush. It's one of those products where they have little ';colorspheres'; that adjust to your skin tone, etc etc.

Maybelliene Dream Matte Mousse Blush or Bronzer is a great choice too. It's not a gel, but it's... mousse. It has a really soft, airy texture. It comes in like, 8 shades, so.

You can also make some yourself, y'know. Take some of your favourite moisturizer and put it in a small little container. Then, take a powdered blush you already have and scrape it. Scrape a few pigments off, then place those pigments into the moisturizer and mix it all together. The darker you want it, the more pigment you should add.
Bonne Bell gel blush. I don't think they make it anymore. I bought a few tubes on clearance years ago and ended up loving it. Now that I need more I can't find any. I even e-mailed the company to ask about it but never got a reply.

What color blush goes best with purple eyeshadow?

I have dark brown eyes and purple eyeshadow goes really good with my skintone and eyecolor but i dont know what color blush would look nice with purple eyeshadow since i do have blemishes. help plz!?What color blush goes best with purple eyeshadow?
I would go with a soft peach blush. Not much though a little near the temples will help set off your eyes and that purple eyeshadow. What color blush goes best with purple eyeshadow?
    peach
well, i think a light coral will be good. Because this color is not too pink or red it will look nice, it will give you a bronze tone with a little pink. Try covergirl, i think they have that color.
A peach color would set you off very good.
Well Blush really depends on your skin tone and face shape.

If you have a fair skin tone and oval face you can go with a bright pink color and it will look good.

If your face is more square or round and darker (sometimes fair can get away with it) Bronze colored blush will look great.

I would work more with your skin tone rather then eyeshadow as far as blush goes, You will have much better results.
Loreal makes a mocha rose wich is like a plum bronze. It can go on apply lightly and dust with powder. It looks natural, compliments both your brown eyes and the purple shadow, and will make you look like you spent some time in the sun.
it doesnt matter what color your eye shadow is. your blush is supposed to maek it look like you have natural beauty. doent wear to much you dont want it to look powdery. but just wear a shade of red like pink or that tanish pink. just make sure it brings out you complection.
I would go with a bronzer, or a neutral color. Pink may make it look too purple.

What color blush would work best for me?

i have black hair and yellow/olive skin tone whats the best color for me?please and thank you! What color blush would work best for me?
Your yellow/olive skintone means that you would be classified as a ';warm';.

Any color meant for warm skintones will look fine on you ... warm colors include peach, bronze, gold, apricot, cinnamon, terra cotta.

Colors to avoid are pink, rose, wine, burgundy, etc.

The same is true for eyeshadow and lipstick colors ... and even clothing. Staying within the ';temperature'; (warm or cool) of your skintone helps you choose shades that will work with your natural coloring. What color blush would work best for me?
    go for dark brown.
lite pink applyed to the apple of the cheek.
    light coral

WHAT IS THE BEST BLUSH ON THE MARKET?

milani blush is very pigmented and is an excellent substitution for nars and mac. and it has no shimmer which is great for winter and fall.

nars is super glittery but its really good.

mac has both matte and shimmery shades, so i would go with one of those three brands :)

oh and one more suggestion, If you are tanner or dark, cargo blush in rome is absoutely incredible, its a super bright coreal in the tin but it gives a really pretty flush on your cheeks and has gold shimmer so its like a bronzer and a blush :)

    hope i helped

What is the best way to clean my blush brush?

Here is how I wash my makeup brushes (which needs to be done weekly by the way):

Wet brush thoroughly. Take some liquid anti-bacterial hand soap or baby shampoo and squish it into the wet brush. You do NOT need the fancy smancy ';brush cleaner'; sprays they sell...it is a total waste of money and nothing but a gimmick. The suds are going to look NASTY! Work the soap into the brush for about a minute then rise well in warm water. Take a little more soap and work it through the brush again. Rinse really welll...then rinse AGAIN to make sure you get all the soap. Dry the brush on a towel on the edge of the sink with the head of the brush hanging OVER the edge....if you lay it flat on the counter, your brush will get deformed. Depending on how big the brush is, it should dry in about 12 hours.

Oh...and do NOT let the brush soak in water. That is one of the fastest ways to rot the brush. What is the best way to clean my blush brush?
Squirt some baby shampoo into a mug with warm water. Put the brush in, smoosh a bit, and let it sit for a few hours. Then take it out and lay it on a paper towel to dry. What is the best way to clean my blush brush?
rinse with soap and warm water gently, brush slightly on a rag. then just let it air dry. Make sure that it is all the way dry before you use it.
with antibacterial hand soap. just rinse it, scrub it gently with the soap, rinse and let it air dry
    with baby shampoo..

    1.its not expensive.

    2.it works well

3.its not very very cheap but getting really cheap make-up doesn't look good or work as well

    good luck bye :D
I personally prefer not using a ';blush';. I shadow the hollow of the cheek (under the cheek bone) with a powder or liquid foundation one or 2 shades darker than the base shade, then blend well, use a highlighter or a light powder on the cheek bone itself. It helps accentuate the bone structure and gives a more natural look. I use loreal bronzer for the highlighter and almost anything will do for the shadowing. If you still need a little color you can try anything in a shear pinkish color just on the apples of the cheek. Just a little trick I picked up from make-up pros when I was modeling.

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>What is the right blush for my skin tone and what is the best brand?
Mac is ofcourse the best brand.

u can try a kind of goldish bronze, looks rly cool and gives u a little glow. or you could try a rly blushy light pinkish kind of color for a more live look. or u can just try a blush that is just a little darker then ur own skin color for contouring and highlighting ur cheekbones(then u apply the blush just under ur cheekbones).
    light kind

What are the best makeup companies for eyeshadow and blush?

MAC is a good mid-end option for both! Nars makes awesome blushes as does Cargo and Chanel.

Stila makes good buttery shadows. What are the best makeup companies for eyeshadow and blush?
Depends on the type of color and look you are looking for. I enjoy bright colors and then I have a need for neutral colors for work so I get all my eye shadows and pallets at Sephora. they carry all the brands of eye shadows in one store and will help you mix and match so you get what you are looking for. Plus certain lines have make up artist there on the weekends to show you how to apply any shadow you buy or what products from there lines do what. Plus there are times I pick out a color that I fall in love with and later realize that out it looks bad, you can always return items. While you pay a little extra per eye shadows or you can get a pallet for like $25, its well worth it, they last me forever! What are the best makeup companies for eyeshadow and blush?
    EYESHADOW:

NYX is affordable and works like MAC for a third of the price. I suggest getting the single shadows not the triples though b/c the triples arent as good.

    BLUSH:

Bare minerals have great blushes that are really light on your face and give a natural look. Or if you want to spend the money MAC is great too.
MAC but if that's too expensive then NYX, Coastal Sense, and Urban Decay.
    Eyeshadows - MAC

    Blush - NARS

What is the best way to apply a blush stick to my face?

blush sticks are great and last longer than powder...but they are harder to use.

Best way is to use your fingers...the natural oils and heat in your fingers is great for blending. The trick it to use just a little then layer on...until you get the color you want. If you put a lot on right away...its hard to wipe off and get a lighter look.

Dab just a little on the apple of your cheek (smile and its the round part). With your fingers...start blending the blush into a larger circle adding color if needed. Use a sponge to give you a finished, polished look.

Remember you want the blush to look natural ....like you just blushed or ran a mile.

Good luck!!What is the best way to apply a blush stick to my face?
personally i hate the stick....but to apply blush you should smile your biggest smile and apply blush to the ';apples'; of your cheeks...ie : the higest part when you smile. If your face is too wide try drawing your blush lightly along your jawline starting at the ';apple'; and working downward to your jawbone. If your nose needs a little sculpting draw your blusher lightly along the slope of your nose.

Using the stick type blush you will have to blend it some using a sponge or tissue so that it does not look drawn on.What is the best way to apply a blush stick to my face?
use the spong.. but the stick is too thic.. i think you should try the powder one.. its easier to spread out and it looks more natural... good luck!
Swipe it directly on your cheekbones, then blend with a makeup sponge.
Use a good foundation brush and apply softly on the apples of the cheeks, then blend!
blend it really well! smile, and apply it to the apples of your cheek.

What eyeshadow colour, blush and lip gloss would look best on me?

I have blonde hair blue eyes and a fair skin tone. What eyeshadow colour, blush and lip gloss would look best on me?
    Good question!

With a fair complexion, you have to be really careful about not looking like you are wearing too much makeup (even if you aren't wearing that much). Stick to light pastels like pinks and peaches and browns. Brown will bring out the blue in your eyes. I would not suggest blue or green eyeshadow unless you really know what you are doing or its just for fun (a night out). Match your blush to your natural skin tone. Look inside your wrist to see if you have blue or red undertones. Even if you wear pinky or brown eyeshadow, you can wear peach blush. They don't necessarily have to match. Use a good quality brush and have a sponge handy to blend. Lip gloss is great, there are so many colours, you can really play with it. If you are going for darker eyes (browns) use a nude lip. If you are going for neutral eyes (pink or peach) try something bold on the lips!

Remember application is everything. Remember to blend. Add a little color at a time, it's easier to add more than to have to remove it all and start over.

Good luck, I bet you'll look fab@What eyeshadow colour, blush and lip gloss would look best on me?
ok i have blonde hair blue eyes and fair skin to ...its so hard to find stuff to suit us !!

but after agesss of experimenting lol i came up with some gud-uns...

i tend to avoid eyeshadow because it looks really harsh on fair skin and really un natural and kinda odd but sometimes i wud dab some grey on for a smoky sorta look that looks really good on blondes...

no blues on the eyes because it really doesnt make the eyes stand out but brown does ..

only underline half the bottom eye in eyeliner so its not to harsh and looks good and use eyeliner for top aswell..then use liquid eyeliner(takes practise) on the lid and dab grey eyeshadow over the top for a good smoky

i think bronzer looks better on fair skin because blush can make us look really young

...if your brave red lipgloss looks so glam on blondes but otherwise a light pink

    hope i helped

your coloring is the exact same as mine. I had a makup profesional show me what colors you use, so they should work the same for you.

for eye shadow, i use a product called, ';heres looking at ya'; from beauty control. it has a gold and a bronzy color. the gold color goes on the lid, then a darker bronze color along the lash line. pair it off with either dark brown or black eyeliner and mascara.

For lip gloss, i use a sorta light mauve color. sounds weird, but looks great!

as for blush, just chose a light color that you think looks good.

For you, I think your best feature would be your blue eyes, so I would enhance that with a brown shadow, since brown contrasts with blue. For blush, I'd put a very sheer blush so it won't look overdone on your fair skin tone and for lips, I'd go for a soft, rosey colour. Hope this helps! =]

thanks.Which color blush would look best on me?
Try this website http://www.covergirl.com/, just pretty good for helping you to figure out what tones suit you according to your skin/hair/eye colour. It'll give you some idea even if you dont buy their product.

You should be able to use mineral products with any other kind of make-up (mineral or not) :)

Good luck!Which color blush would look best on me?
u shouldnt use powder foundation with powder blush. its looks more natural if u use a liquid or cream foundation with powder blush - do not do vice versa (which would be powder foundation n cream blush - do not do that!).

n the link was kinda slow, so i didnt wait. but i suggest that u use salmon-coloured or innocent girl pink-kinda blush. salmon would refer to an iridescent colour between orange n pink. innocent girl pink refers to the simple mix of pink n magenta - coloured blush (it should be more pink than magenta tho)

bare essentials....its so light and doesnt even feel or look like makeup it gives you such a natural glow
I dont like either because they make my skin look blothy. I use Maybelline New York Dream Mousse Blush. It gives you a soft natural glow to your cheeks. You should use Cloud Wine. It makes you look like you have naturally rosy cheeks!
There really isn't any best blush imho.

Technique seems to be more important. I've used everything from eyeshadow to dollar store brands to Kryolan aquacolors with anywhere from atrocious to beautiful results for each and every blush I've tried.

';The stuff that puts the sparkle in your eye shadow, face powder and blush is usually mica, a common mineral. The jagged, flaky shape of mica particles can cause irritation and/or clogging in the follicle, so it鈥檚 best to use products without too much shimmer. Likewise, many of the red dyes used to put a bloom in your cheeks are coal tar derivatives; not surprisingly, these substances are comedogenic, too. Check the labels for blushes that use carmine, which has been a natural, healthy cosmetic colorant since the time of the Aztecs. Also, cream blushes are more likely to have comedogenic ingredients, so stick to powder or gel blushes'; (source:www.acne.com) Try Clinique (Blushing Blush Powder Blush) ...
Elizabeth Arden's make up product is the best in the market but quite pricey though. But for your acne prone skin, it's worth it. You can also try Clinique.

You've got a lot of requirements there! I've tried a lot of blush, but the best one that I stick with is Clinique now. Price is not cheap, so that doesn't really help you out though, but it's great. If you want something good, but cheaper, I'd say Covergirl though. Their products arn't expensive and work well. Somethin Extra: A lot of the time, people use those lil brushes that come with the blush. Don't, you'll end up with a better application and overall look if you use a fluffy blush brush. You can buy a set of makeup brushes that are much better than they provide with the blushes.

i use NARS blush; it works well for me. its $25 and is translucent so that you apply it in layers to get darker and darker. you really cant fee it on your face at all. did you say you want blue shades??hmm i really dont think they make those. but some shades that would look good on you are lovejoy and sin. if you do end up using it then apply it with a really light toch on the first layer.

What is the best way to apply eyeshadow and blush?

like every i put my my eyeshadow it's kinda like all over the place and doesn't look neat,i have to get a wet towel and wipe some off.

How do you get a nice finishing look. What is the best way to apply eyeshadow and blush?
to apply eyeshoadow, keep one eye closed and the other open... look in the mirror while you're doing that.

another alternative to doing normal eyeshadow application is doing a smoky eye. you sweep the darkest shade on the eyelid and the next shade(lighter than the previous) on the crease and then the lightest shade right beneath the brow. (i dont recommend using black for day; brown is a good better for daytime)

for blush, use a natural shade so it looks a bit more natural even if you dont put it on perfectly... just use a big brush and smile. sweep it right on the apples of your cheeks and on your temples. What is the best way to apply eyeshadow and blush?
when i apply my eyeshadow i put on a lighter shade first all over the aye so that its up near the eyebrow and a bit on the side of your face near your ear. Then i put a darker shade which matches on the crease line and then i put another shade slightly on the outside if the crease line and it looks blended and nice. Other people tend to apply a light shade on the inside nearer the nose and then a darker shade as the eye gets closer to the ear side which is also very nice.

Blusher is usually very nice looking when applied on the cheek bone and up nixt to the ear to bring some shape to the face and give a very nice structured cheek bone look.
Use a little eye shadow brush to smooth it on, but when you dip it into your eye shadow blow on it so the loose stuff falls off on the floor and not on your face. For blush, blow off the rest of the stuff you dont need and then apply it on the apples of your cheeks. it helps to suck in your cheeks and then wipe it outward to the sides of your face. It gives it a nice finish.
With eye shadow get a make-up brush, and don't apply to much to it. Shake it slightly to get rid of the extra dusting an apply it in sweeps. Don't go overboard and wait for it to settle on your lids before opeing your eyes.

With your blusher make sure you have a blusher brush and some decent blusher. Lightly brush over the blusher and apply to your cheeks.

I would tell you how to brush it onto your cheeks to suit your face shape, however i dont know your face shape =)
instead of using the little sponge q tip looking thing , i use a eyeshadow brush , kinda looks like a paint brush , and i find that looks nicer, put a silvery color below eyebrows and whichever color you like on your eyelids , and for blush , just use the brush that comes with it , and smile so that the apples of your checks stick out and just put it right on them :)
    I would use a blush/bronzer brush

    or a mini kabuki brush

for your eyes, just use your fingers : D
With eyeshadow I have 2 methods and they are

    Method 1

Prime the lids by applying a light touch of foundation or concealer to the lids to even skin tone and help shadow adhere to the lid. Blend well, but use a gentle touch with this sensitive skin area.

Apply mascara second so it won't mess up your eyeshadow by getting those little dots of mascara on it before it dries when you blink.

Sweep a color similar to your skin tone (or a touch lighter) over the entire lid from lashes to browbone. Start at the bottom of your eyelid and work your way up.

Sweep a light white shadow (shimmer or matte, your preference) directly under the brows from the middle of the eye outwards. This is your browbone highlighter and will help to open up the eyes.

Take the next darkest color and sweep shadow across the eyes from lash line to the crease. Blend well outwards.

Apply dark shadow. For the most impact, the darkest color can be applied to the crease of the eye from the corners to the outer edges, blended well. Blending is key to avoid a drastic line across the crease. The second option is to use the darkest shadow to create a sideways ';V'; on the sides of the eyes. Lightly apply shadow to the outer third of the crease and blend into the outer edges of the eyelid, creating a sideways ';V'; shape (The pointed end of the v would be pointing away from the eyes, to help visualize). This helps to define the shape of the eyes, and makes them appear bigger by bringing the focus outwards.

Finish with a careful application of eyeliner to the top lid in a complimentary color. There are so many fantastic eyeliner colors available today, so experiment with what is out there. Plums, greens, and browns are flattering to many eye colors. Tilt the head forward while looking down, and dash short lines along the last line to avoid drags and smudges.

    Method 2

Apply concealer and mascara as described previously.

Apply eyeliner under the eyes (above eyelashes) and a thin line above the eyes close to the eyelashes.

Grab your eyeshadow brush that is thinnest and dab it in the black eyeshadow.

Raise your eyebrows, find the crease of your upper eyelid (where you might feel the bone for the top of your eye socket), and then take the brush and line it with the eyeshadow. Do it as if you're holding a pencil and you're using it to draw on your eyes. Do this to make a half circle above your eyes. (Don't go too far out to the side of your face when doing this step)

Dab the same brush in your black eyeshadow

Fill in the space between the line of eyeshadow you just created, and the eyeliner on your eyelid.

Make sure to do this lightly so the first line of eyeshadow stands out more

Grab your thicker eyeshadow brush and lighter color of eyeshadow (of your choice, it doesn't necassarily have to be yellow) and dab it in that.

Lightly sweep it accross the top of your dark line of black eyeshadow. (don't go too low on the sides of your face)

Dab it back in the eyeshadow and again lightly dab it where you already swept it accross. Dab lightest at the edge of your outer eye and the edge of your inner eye to create a smokey, well maintained effect.

To do the bottom part of the eyeshadow, take out your thin brushed eyeshadow brush again and dab it in your black eyeshadow. (Tap it on the rim to get rid of excess eyeshadow that could fall off the brush and leave unattractive black spots of eyeshadow under your eyes or on your cheeks!)

With one easy motion, start by putting the brush under your bottom lashes and sweeping it from side to side in a straight motion to create the point under the eye on both sides.

Touch up by making sure no excess eyeshadow fell onto unwanted places on your face and adding a little more concealer to seal the deal. and you're done! \

For blush I use this method

Select a color that will help accent your already stunning facial features. Choose a color that you think will look appropriate and won't stand out too much. A bright red may not look great on a pale person. Try a soft pink color such as ';Dandelion'; by Benefit Cosmetics. Maybe even something with a little tan and pink in it, like ';10'; by Benefit Cosmetics.

Get a whole set of brushes, and you can use them for all kinds of different makeup applications. Sometimes blush comes with an applicator. Never use a small, cheap brush like the ones that come in CoverGirl blushes. If you use a cheap brush, You'll have a cheap look.

Make sure your area is well lit for doing makeup. Consider getting a lighted makeup mirror. Prepare for your makeup by washing your face, brushing your teeth, and putting on any foundations, coverups, and bronzers you may use.

Swipe your brush over your cheek about three times, making strokes back and forth or round and round. Put a big smile on your face so your cheeks perk up (these are the apples of your cheeks) and you may even see some dimples. Place the brush over your cheeks and make strokes with the brush from your cheeks (towards your nose) to the side of your face (towards your ears). Move the brush in a circular fashion as well before going to do the other side of your face.

Use a large, quality brush, such as ';Professional Natural Slant Brush'; by Sephora.

What shades of lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow would look best on me?

I have pale skin, green eyes, and redish brown hair. What shades of lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow would look best on me?
HI There, try keeping to dark shades, use kohl for your eye lining as it looks killng sexy for green eyes. Blush---throw it away but if u like brown is the best and lipstck browns or reds :) u'll look damn sexyWhat shades of lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow would look best on me?
For your skin tone you should wear a light pink lipstick and for green eyes a brownish mix of red tint eyeshadow.. For blush just use a light brownish bronzer.
Your hair is red and your skin is pale, so don't try pinks.

Don't ever wear green eyeshadow unless it is a few (no more than 2) shades of green and blended well with another flattering color. This doesn't play up your eyes, since it's the same color...

No black mascara, try brown or clear. Do the same with eyeliner, black will probably look too harsh on you.

I've seen purple eyeshadow look fabulous with green eyes and pale skin, but don't use a shade that's too dark. Go to the makeup aisle and look for Almay Intense iColor for green. There's eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara that will coordinate with your eye color.

If you were to wear lipstick, use a red with blue or berry undertones.

Foundation--just find a good brand you like and match the color!

    Hope this helped...
To be honest I don鈥檛 think you should worry too much about strictly avoiding certain shades. I actually don鈥檛 think dark colours are necessarily complimentarily either as they can look very harsh on pale skin. One thing I would recommend is embracing your colouring, far too many women that are naturally pale are made to feel that they need bronzer etc to look healthy, there is nothing wrong with being a pale redhead and I wouldn鈥檛 try to do anything to disguise your 鈥榩aleness鈥? I think the most important thing is to stick to soft colours at first until you grow in confidence with colour usage. Start out with using soft brown colours on the lids and light peachy colour blusher 鈥?try to avoid anything too red looking as this will over emphasise the underlying red tones that most people with red hair and fair skin have. Try some natural looking pink/peachy-pink lipstick shades at first to experiment with. I would recommend investing in a colour pallet with many different eye shadows and lip colours etc too so that you can experiment and see what works for you. What works with one pale redhead will not always wok for you. As I mentioned, I recommend trying out neutral shades to start with. For an evening look, some soft light brown shadow with dark brown liner on top with red lipstick should look fabulous 鈥?try looking at some of the classic 40s/50鈥檚 film star looks for inspiration such as Maureen O'Hara.

What is the best blush-on for girls with oily and pimple prone skin?

Everyone else gave good answers -- yes, those are the blush-ons girls with oily / pimply skin should wear.

But let me make a side recommendation: no matter how ';safe'; your make-up is, you must always use the proper make-up remover, soap, toner, facial scrub and acne medicine (yes all of the above) to make sure you don't break out. I recommend Cetaphil as a make-up remover (just apply generously, and tissue off, and repeat as much as necessary until all traces of make-up is gone). This is what theater actors use in order to prevent pimples from sweating under thick stage make-up.What is the best blush-on for girls with oily and pimple prone skin?
Brands like Loreal and MAC that have oil free blushes. What is the best blush-on for girls with oily and pimple prone skin?
If your skin is very oily, use make-up that is water based and not oil based. Or don't use make-up at all until your skin clears. Talk to a dermatologist.
There are some stores that have new brands that are medicated...i don't really know much about blushes but i know that AVON has many products for sensitive skin
Clinique, it's specially formulated for skin types, go to any department store and ask a representative, they'll even put it on you and show you other products that are good for your skin type.
    Maybelline blush-ons
clear the skin as more as possible and take light food, aviod the oily food.
waterbase makeup. with no oils in it.
Well...being perfectly honest, people with this skin type should be focusing on caring their skin. Not saying that they shouldnt wear makeup but try to wear as little as possible. Blush is not a necessary, maybe a little red at night to add a little color but not to be worn in the day, unless its as close to skin color as possible. Hope this helps.

    I like Avon
blush is good only if you know how to use it properly. if not, try bronzer. its easier on the skin and it highlights and forgives. and causes your skin to glow and it brings out the best of your features.
    Rimmel makes a good one.
I'd go for Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends, it has vitamins and antioxidants, and an oh-so cute pink color, it's sooo lovely! When my bf saw me he thought I was actually blushing!

But I'm not so sure about the price its $10.99 at Drugstore.com

Tip: remember, cheap blushes could be unhealthy for your skin, causing pimples and blackheads and all sorts of yucky stuff, you need color with the benefits!

I think that Clinique is great. But if you like L'Oreal, then try taking the L'Oreal Paris make up guide: http://www.lorealparisusa.com/frames.asp鈥?/a>
Covergirl, three shade blush is really good.

NARS Orgasm. I think this shade of blush is the most universal one out there. You've got an answer from a fair, blonde person saying that their favourite is Orgasm. Well,I am medium-dark skinned with black hair (think east indian colouring) and Orgasm gives me this lovely pinky-peach glow that looks very natural on me. It is very pigmented, so I think a fairer person may need to apply it very sheerly in order for it to look like that ';just rolled in the hay'; glow, but it is a gorgeous, gorgeous colour. This is the only blush I've ever gotten this excited about. What is the best blush for you?
I use the Silk Radiance from Bee Luscious. It is crushed silk and gives you a very natural looking ';glow';. It is just the right shade. I don't know if their is a store near you but I get it from their web-site.
I agree with everyone's answer! They are all fantastic colours ~ O-Glow by smashbox is also an interesting choice. Chanel always recommends looking at the colour of the pads of your fingers as a guide for what colour you naturally flush.

What type of blush/concealer-- 10 best answer?

For EVERYDAY MINERALS? Like, for blushes, there are different types of finishes, like matte and lucent, what does what?

As for concealers, they have some like blue or green or yellow kinds of concealers, what do the different colors do?

((Mainly wondering about the blues, pinks, and greens!!))What type of blush/concealer-- 10 best answer?
Matte means not shiny, lucent (?) or luminance /luminescent usually means it has some kind of light reflectors or shine in it. i don't really know about concealers, but i know the green concealer is supposed to help combat redness (they're supposed to cancel each other out). I think yellow is for dark spots (like under-eye circles).

But I do agree that Bare Minerals is a great brand, just make sure you test around and find the right shade for your skin tone--trust, wearing the right shade makes a hell of a difference. What type of blush/concealer-- 10 best answer?
You knoww. Just get bare minerals. It works amazing and covers upp everything! The colors are supposed to help make.. like a zit not as red. Thats what the green is for. But from experience they dont work that well because the color is hard to cover up..

If cream blush looks better on you, wear cream blush. I have combination skin, and I wear cream blush and powder blush, sometimes together. Bottom line, wear what you like and what looks good. I can't help much with cream bronzer, except to say that Lancome and Estee Lauder are the best high-end makeup brands I've ever used, and I've tried just about everything. When I have a little bit of face powder left in the container and do not want it to go to waste, all I do is use the other side of my powder brush and crush the powder. Throw it against a wall! just kidding, lol.

What is the best way to loosen up blush in it's container?

i use mac blush. i have used all the blush in the middle of it's round container. i can't get blush on my brush evenly from whats left. what can i do so i am able to use what's left? What is the best way to loosen up blush in it's container?
When I have a little bit of face powder left in the container and do not want it to go to waste, all I do is use the other side of my powder brush and crush the powder. When I have the amount of crush powder I want, I take the normal side of the brush and dip it into the powder. There you go!What is the best way to loosen up blush in it's container?
Throw it against a wall! just kidding, lol.

i say close the container, and tap it upside down (on it's ';face';) on your bathroom counter. turn it back over and open it. TADA! hopefully that works.

Go to Dillards and they will give you a make over and let you pick the best color for your skin tone. They'll do it for free as well.
you shouldn't wear blush you should go army style and put the black lines just blow your eyes now thats hot
Try a bronzer, instead of a blush. It can give you more depth.
    green eyes
    yawn.....
i'd say a mauve shade, or straight pink if you go sparingly. I would not reccomend anything red, brown, or purple.
I have fair skin %26amp; green eyes very blonde hair %26amp; I wear pinks and peaches, lighter the better.
pink blush would probably look good on you.
    Probably a very pale rose.
A light pinky color should do the trick, maybe go to a department store where you can try on different colors to find one you like best!
you should go with a pale rosy colour... basically you fall under the warm tones.....

don't go with too bright or deep colours bcuz it would look like you've been running through the sahara for 2yrs b4 u arrived.

Benefit Benetint (only comes in one shade) is the best product for that ever. Plus, it is a stain so it lasts all day without coming off.I've been doing the pin up look, but can't find rosy red blush. What is the best brand %26amp; color?
Use the cherry red lipstick as a cream blush it works and looks fab! I like Max Factor for the ';Pin Up'; look since it it the original from the start of the look. Good Luck!

What is the best way to crush up blush in it's container?

i use mac blush. i have used all the blush in the middle of it's round container. i can't get blush on my brush evenly from whats left. what can i do so i am able to use what's left? What is the best way to crush up blush in it's container?
I have the same problem with my face powder...

I use something with an edge (usually my tweezers for my eyebrows) to detach all the makeup from the sides of the container, being careful not to spill. Then I use the bottom of my powder brush to smush it all up so it's not loose, giant chunks of makeup.

Next time you go to apply, dip your brush in lightly and tap off excess blush because you're going to get a lot more on brush with loose powder. What is the best way to crush up blush in it's container?
what i do, is a crush up the blush with a bobby pin notthe whole thing, but a little section. that always works.
Well, this may not sound like the ideal advice, but for me my blush always crumbles when I accidentally drop it. Though that may not work in your case if you are afraid your container might break if you drop it you can still do it this way, just a bit differently. If I were you I would wrap it in a towel while it is closed and kinda slam it on a counter or a carpeted floor until it is all broken away from the sides. After that shaking it and gently tapping the base of it on a counter should get it all broken up and on the bottom of the container.

    Good luck!
i suggest u take it out of itz thing...and then put it into another container..and then...u poor it slowly back in to the mac and try and compact it evenly as best as possable...it might b messsy.but u will fix ur problem
I would do the same thing,

crush it up,put it in a small container, get it at the beauty supply/Sally's or Wal*Mart.

Just think about the loose powdery make-up eye shadows and etc. ,it's pretty much the same, the only difference is that your's will be homemade!

    GOOD LUCK!
Scrape out the contents onto a paper plate and crush it up. Then you can fold the plate up into a cone and tap it back into the container. You just have to be careful you don't dip your blush brush too deep into the powder.
