If you're going strictly with drugstore brands, then I would recommend Neutrogena or Max Factor (this is a professional makeup artist after all)

FACE--





If you have blemishes you wish to conceal or a shiny face--





Almay Clear Complexion Powder/liquid Makeup and Clear Complexion Concealer. These have salycic acid in them, which heals the blemish as it conceals.





If you have a face with no major issues- Covergirl Tru Blend makeup or Clean Makeup from Covergirl. Looks flawless and blends in perfectly with your skin tone.





Blush-- Neutrogena Mineral Sheers. Natural look, and gentle on the skin. I also like the Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush. It's easy to apply just where you want it with your fingertips.





EYES--





Liner-- Covergirl Smoothers retractable pencil liner- Can be applied softly for a subtle look or more for a dramatic look. Covergirl also has a good liquid liner pen that is easy to apply.





Mascara- Define-A-Lash by Maybelline New York. The most AMAZING mascara I've ever used, lengthens, lifts, and defines each lash. Incredible.





Shadows--Maybelline or Covergirl shadows. These have the best selection of colors. Covergirl is cheaper.








LIPS--





Glosses- I LOVE the new Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers. My favorite colors are Watermelon, Strawberry, Guava, and, Rasberry.





Lipsticks- Covergirl Trushine- Your natural lipcolor can shine through so it looks more natural.

maybelline and max factor are the best drugstore cosmetics. never use covergirl, it will break you out and look streaky.
i find revlon is the best by far. unless you want to buy the very expensive makeup in there like sephora, red river, etc. go for revlon
Revlon has great applicators and eyelash curlers. They also have sworn off animal testing. I use their mascara too.
