What's the best way to apply blush?

I recently purchased a peach colored CoverGirl blush and I was wondering what the best way to apply it would be. I have very fair skin, with freckles across the checks and nose. I have blonde hair and blue eyes (idk if thats even important). Can you give me some tips? What's the best way to apply blush?
people will tell you loads of different ways and places to apply blush but they only look good if your veeeeeeeery skilfull with a blusher brush and/or a model :P

The most simple, flattering and easiest way to apply powder blush -

First, make sure you skin is prepped. Washed/moisturised/whatever else you need. Moisturising is important otherwise makeup just looks dull and flaky on your skin.

Look straight ahead in the mirror and smile. The fleshiest bits ( the apple of the cheek) that is like, right under your eye is where you need to lightly apply the blusher and sweep it up. You can take it all the way up to your hairling, but I'd reccommend stopping near the outer corner of your eyes. You can of course experiment and see what you like best.

Swiril the blusher brush and tap it to get rid of excess powder and then sweep it on your cheeks. Simple :) It's easy once you get the hang of it.

And also, I highly recommened buying a proper blusher brush! It needn't be pricey, cheap ones work great too! If you dont already have on that is :P

On a side note, my personal fave is cream blusher. It comes in a lil tube and you just rub it in. Way simple. What's the best way to apply blush?
Hi,

First thing, lightly tap the brush into the blush-make sure you don't have to much product on the brush (esp because you have light skin) if so, just tap the brush against something to remove some. then look into the mirror and smile. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks. and you're done!
When i do it.. i smile , you can do this with your teeth showing.. or not showing :P

And then get the blusher and spead it on the apples of your cheeks (the bits that go up when you smile) then blend it back to near your hair line, but make sure its not the same colour all the way back to your hair. fade it :)

You can either apply it along the apples of your cheeks (they go up when you smile), or the cheek bones (make a fish face and do it above the part that's sucked in). Make sure you don't got all the way into the hairline and blend it so it looks natural :D
Smile, loosely brush on the 'apple' of your cheeks in a circular motion. If you wear lip gloss or lipstick, make sure it's the same color as the blush

hope that helps
you should start off with a really good brush...a khabuki brush works best for me..i always make a big smile and brush the blush upwards from my cheek up towards my temples...do light brushes and brush upwards...!
