the mauve would definitely look better. but just because you're asian, doesn't mean that you can't wear the pink! you would just have to wear all of your makeup a little bit differently so that it wouldn't look as harsh. i'm asian and i have unusually brown hair and tan skin. so i normally wear nude colored makeup.Which blush color looks best on Asians?
I think that a gentle pink would look nice on you but just have to put the blush really light.

Best shimmery/blush makeup?
i have light skin for an asian, like caucasian plp light but it still has a tiny tinge of yellow. i want a blush that is a natural pink and has shimmer in it. i also want an eyeshadow that doesnt have color, but is basically shimmer. i heard nar's orgasm in the multiple is good. what other suggestions?Best shimmery/blush makeup?

I don't know but definitely not almay pure blends. It's organic for sensitive skin, but it doesn't cover anything! I tried it the other day, for my pimple, and I had to put so much on. Then, like 10 minutes later, you could still see the redness from the pimple. It is not worth buying.
I like Korres' makeup. You can find it at Sephora locations or www.sephora.com. I too have sensitive skin, and this product does not irritatte me at all because it is extremely natural, organic, and cruelty-free! You can also visit www.korres.com. They have powders, foundations, eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, etc!
ALMAY smart shade makeup. The foundation and concealer come together. And they also sell the smart shade blush. Its good because you dont have to guess find your shade. And they are hypoallergenic AND wont clog pores. I have eczema and i use it. :)

The Bobbi Brown foundation is very light with good coverage it doesn't look caky like other foundations. The concealer can hide just about anything and works well for dark circles under the eyes. Bobbi Brown uses lighter concelear than the foundation to make the eyes ';pop';. The name of the foundation is just called Skin Foundation SPF 15 and the concelear is Creamy Concealer Kit.
There isn't a specific name for the blush because they are all the same just different shades.

Bare escentuals it's all natural, many lines claim to be mineral makeup but they still have other stuff in them. It won't harm your skin at all and it's good for your skin I use the entire line . They have great colors of blush. The concealer works great I get purple mark on my skin from pimples ( I'm so fair) and it covers them right up, for this line it's best to put on the foundation first before the concealer, then apply the concealer where it's needed. If you have never used a makeup like this it stays on great I just swam in it and when I was done you couldn't tell I had swam except for my wet hair. It also lasts for a long time, if your concerned about the price.

well i feel makeup makes me feel kinda dirty,so i only wear blush and chapstick. i have really pale skin but i have a horrible complection, so i like to brighten it up some with a girly blush but nothing expensive. i need somthing i can find at walmart. i dont wanna get any type of liquid or stick, cuz it'll clog my pores.and nothing too dark but noticable. the powder always comes off so idk.thanxBest inexpensive BLUSH 4 me?

i actually purchased Rimmell last nite. I bought the compressed foundation/power and it made my skin uniform (never used anything like this before). I have used liquid foundation to try to cover flaws-this is so much better and I am so glad i took the gamble of only $4.
all i am trying to say is to address the skin prior to the blush. if you have a good canvass, you'll be ok.
Wet N wild or the MARY kate and Ashley brand you can find at walmart, also maybeline isnt expensive to me only 6 dollars is worth it and last long as well. i use bronZER only no pink nor red blush AT all i use bronzer it looks hot and way natural
first of all i thk u need the most important thing now is a good cleanser!maybe u can try going for facials.it helps really.make up don make ur face look dirty gal but it makes u look more presentable.but no excessive make up pls!it'll hurt ur skin more.well, i thk as u were saying ur complexion is not really good, u shouldn't buy cheap products even for a blusher. of course u don need a real expensive one too.maybe u can look one at body shop, they have many colours to suit ur complexion n its not tested on animals..im using one of the blusher as well.not bad!
instead of trying a bunch of cheap blushes try going a lil more expensive more often than not it will work out better in the long run. you can try MAC Tenderling or Harmony $17.50 each

I'm trying to find a staple blush for me.
I've used Nars Orgasm Blush, but it's way too glittery for my liking.

What's the best way to apply cream blush?
Apply with clean finger tips from about mid-ear towards the apple of the cheek. You want the product on the lower half of the apple, and you can blend up, this will give contour and color. I've found that product applied directly on the apple looks ';cartoonish';.
If you prefer a brush, MAC cosmetics has duo fibre brush numbers 188 %26amp; 189 that work well for applying cream blush. Look at them on www.maccosmetics.com.

What's the best blush to use for contouring the face?
So yesterday I was at MAC having a look at some of the blushes and I asked the MA for some help with finding a blush for contouring cheek bones and the nose and she recommended this blush called ';Harmony'; it's a sheertone, I think. So I tried it on and I could hardly even see it on my face, let alone accentuating my cheek bones :S

For me I am a true ivory, I'm the type of ivory that the lightest shades are often to dark for. ';Porceline'; skin it is sometimes referred as.
So for me, I use a few different products that give me the results I want..
Firstly, Maybelline purestay powder foundation. Gives you a nice matte finish, is long wearing and the lightest shade is a nice match for my skintone.
But lets say you don't like powder foundation. So for my days when I want fuller coverage or what not I turn to Revlon Custom Creations in light/fair. It has a five shade dial you can turn it to. And goes on like silk..I top it with Cover Girl Tru Blend pressed mineral foundation in light..looks very airbrushed and pretty when mixed together..
As for blush my absolute must have blush is cover girl cheekers in pretty peach..very natural looking, buildable color that is beautiful on pale skin tones..

I reccomend 'posie tint' which is a liquid blusher that comes in a jar with a brush a bit like nail varnish. Or if you prefer powder blushers then there are a selection such as 'dandelion' and 'georgia' that come in a small square shaped box with a miny brush inside! The lovely thing about these products is they are easy to use - come in handy containers complete with brushes, there is allways one to suit you and your needs and they look and smell lovely. They are quite expensive tjough at around 拢22. If you are looking for something cheaper then i would reccomend rimmel london as their blushers are good quality, no wow factor but they work well and are very well priced. But if you really want to go for the three makes you've suggested then i would say mac. I had one of their blushers once and it was good. Hope you get a nice blusher in the end!! x

Origin makes a really good gel blush. It comes in a tube in a variety of colors and blends onto the face really well. Also, Origins is a friendly brand that is mild on the skin. Good luck!

The best mascara I've ever used was the basic Clinique Mascara. It never dried up the entire time I used it (until it was all gone!), never got clumpy, and gave a clean dark appearance on your lash.
I use Maybeline eyeliner and it's pretty good, I don't use a lot of eyeliner though, so I wouldn't call it the best.
I LOVE shimmer. I bought some Elizebeth Arden shimmer (you can use this in place of blush and it's radiant). And it was worth EVERY penny. And I'm so cheap it's not even funny!
Maybeline is really good. Thats what I use all their makeup is good. Also so is Marykate and Ashley. They have fun textures and colors.
My favorite mascara is Lash Exact (in black) by Covergirl. It seperates and defines well. The best eyeliner I've found is Perfect Point by Covergirl. You don't ever sharpen it. It gives you a good line without pulling on your eyelid. Trust me, I've used them all! As for blush, I use a rosey color, but I'm very pale. You'd probably want a peachy color. Where I'm from, the mall has Dillards and me and my friends go to like Elizabeth Arden makeup counters and get free make overs. They can suggest colors for you, even if you don't want to pay their prices! Good luck!

It is a combination of several colors that can be used separately as eye shadows or blush and combined for an all over glow...Gorgeous and light and it wears like a very sheer powder foundation.
P.S. Looks fab with a neutral lip color such as Sand Sugar Shimmer Lip Gloss by Bobbi Brown.

Bare Minerals in True , it has just the right amount of shimmer and is made to compliment a wide range of skin tones.
NARS in Orgasm works for almost everyone. I also like Tarte's Cheek Stain Gel sticks, Blushing Bride is a good neutral. Both are a little pricey but they last!

Well, mascara should definitely get thrown out after about 2 months or so. You don't want an eye infection! Blush, eye shadow, and powders don't go bad very quickly. Just use them until you've finished them off or get sick of using them! Be careful of lip prodcuts-if they get a funky smell or color, toss them!

If it does, return it and go to department stores to ask them to apply the blushes to your face to see what you like, or see if they sell travel/sample sizes.
I personally don't use any of these, I just use what I have left from my old everyday minerals samples.

You can purchase Jane cosmetics at local drugstores like Rite Aid, CVS, or Duane Reade for about $3 or $4.

the safest way is to buy pink blush from asian brands like The Face Shop, Missha, Canmake, VOV and etc. mainly korean and japanese brands. i have a similar experience, not with blush but concealor. i've tried multiple 'western brands' like maybelline, loreal and revlon etc and i never manage to find a tone suitable for my skin, until i switched to a korean brand did i really find my shade.
another point to note, if you're a dark skinned warm skin tone, pink would never be your colour. switch to colours like braun orange instead.

i dont have a brand or anything like that, but what i can tell u is that a light pink and rose blended kinda color, but i cant c ur face, so..... i'd say that if it glows naturally on ur face, and if it u like the color, then it's fine. also, what u can do BEFORE u buy it, is test it with a CLEAN n NEW brush at the store and test it with a NEW brush each time u try on a new shade or blended shade. thn it's safe, and then u dont have 2 return it if u dont like it! :)What is the best kind of blush to use on a light skin blonde women?
a light pink is natural looking on fair skin
or u can use a little bronzer as the blush
just make sure u also apply on ure nose, chin, and forehead
