Smiling is the easiest way to find the apples of your cheeks, which is where I apply my blush! (Most makeup ';experts'; now a days recommend you apply to the apples of your cheeks only and don't blend it towards your temples.... In reality, the best application will depend on your face shape and whether you are trying to contour or not!)
blush is simple wen you get it...... i never did but i can pass the tips down......with a light smile brush the upper half of the apple in a slight circle moving ever sofly to the back to get rid of the line....after take your foundation or powder brushand sweep over to blend. good luck
......depends on what kind of look you want land the shape of your face. For instance, during the day, you want to give yourself softness and radiance. so you should apply on the tip of the cheeks, just enough to to accent the cheek bones. During the evening you may want a more intense look so you apply more coverage or suck in an apply mor to side of face in the outer cheek bone area. If all else fails just practice the application in the mirror and see what works for you! ( I hope this helps!)
Straight face
ohh this was on the Tyra Banks Show! umm Jay Manual was giving beauty and make-up advice. He said when it comes to blush, that you start of at the temples of you head and then go down towards the cheek or wherever you want to end the blush because it blends it nicer and it gives a more natural vibe; doing it the other way makes it a bit too solid and blocky. when i do blush i usually either smile or do a straight face but then again, i guess it comes down to whichever you preffer? hope i helped!
smile really wide, dont show your teeth, place the blush on the apples of your cheeks.

When I want to accentuate my cheekbones then I would suck in my cheekbones. But for a an easy look I just smile an apply on the apple of my cheeks and blend towards the ears.
